Cannabis Derived

A cannabis-derived substance is any compound or extract taken directly from the Cannabis sativa plant. This includes marijuana-derived products high in THC and hemp-derived products containing 0.3% THC or less by dry weight. Common examples are cannabinoids like CBD, THC, and CBG, as well as terpenes that give cannabis its flavor and aroma. These products are often valued for the “entourage effect,” where multiple plant compounds work better together than alone.
