Texas Grants Verano a Significant Opportunity in Growing Medical Cannabis Market
Verano Holdings Corp., one of the nation’s leading multistate cannabis operators, has been awarded a conditional Dispensing Organization License from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), marking a major step toward expanding the state’s limited medical cannabis program.
The license granted as part of the state’s Phase 1 expansion process allows Verano to move closer to operating fully vertically integrated cannabis operations in Texas, including cultivation, processing and dispensing of medical cannabis products. Final approval is pending as state regulators continue due diligence.

- 158 Zen Leaf and MÜV dispensaries,
- 15 cultivation and processing facilities,
