First Cannabist-Branded Retail Store in Ohio

The Cannabist Co., one of the nation’s most experienced cannabis cultivators, manufacturers, and retailers, will celebrate the grand opening of Cannabist Norwalk on Sept. 10.

Located at 383 Milan Ave., the new dispensary represents the company’s sixth location in Ohio and marks the first cannabis dispensary in Huron County. It also introduces the Cannabist retail brand to the Buckeye State for the first time.

The dual-use facility will serve both medical marijuana patients and adult-use customers, reinforcing the company’s strategy of expanding access and creating welcoming retail environments across Ohio.

Leadership Highlights Community Impact

Erick Rodriguez, senior vice president of national retail at The Cannabist Co., praised the Ohio team for its work in bringing the project to life.

With the opening, The Cannabist Co. now operates six Ohio dispensaries, with plans to expand to eight by the end of the year.

Alongside these offerings, the dispensary will stock products from more than 100 third-party brands carried across Ohio. The menu spans flower, pre-rolls, edibles, concentrates, and topicals, with additional partnerships expected to expand offerings in the months ahead.
